1. What information we collect and why
Booking enquiries and reservations
When you submit a booking request — online, by phone, or by post — we collect your name, address, phone number, email address, and details of your holiday (dates, boat, party size, pet requirements). We need this to process your booking and communicate with you about your holiday.
The legal basis is performance of a contract (or steps taken at your request before entering one) under Article 6(1)(b) of UK GDPR.
Payments
Online card payments are handled by SagePay (operated by Elavon Financial Services DAC). Telephone card payments are processed via Barclaycard merchant services through a physical card terminal — details are keyed directly into the terminal and are not recorded or stored by us. In both cases we receive only the payment confirmation. SagePay's and Barclaycard's own privacy policies apply to their respective parts of the transaction.
Website analytics
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the site under Article 6(1)(f).
You can opt out of Google Analytics at any time via tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Cookies

This website uses HTTPS encryption for data in transit. Payment data is handled entirely by SagePay and Barclaycard and is not stored on our systems. No internet transmission is 100% secure, but we'll always tell you promptly if we become aware of a breach affecting your data.
