Waterside Cottage enjoys an elevated position overlooking the Grand Union Canal in Linslade, Bedfordshire, with traditional narrowboats cruising by and abundant wildlife to watch.

This large 150 year old detached waterside holiday cottage is the ideal location for a family gathering or for a group of friends. The cottage enjoys and idyllic picturesque setting and ideally situated to visit the many towns, local attractions and historic sites nearby. These include The Chilterns, Bletchley Park, The Canal Museum, Woburn Abbey & Safari Park, Leighton Buzzard Heritage Railway, and ZSL Whipsnade Zoo.

Waterside Cottage sits next to a working canal wharf in the village of Linslade which adjoins the market town of Leighton Buzzard, where you’ll find a good choice of shops, pubs, cafes, takeaways and restaurants. Visit the Globe Inn pub, just 20 minutes’ walk away over the canal bridge.

Waterside Holiday Cottage Overview

This lovely spacious canal side holiday cottage can accommodate up to 11 people in 6 bedrooms. The living room is equipped with leather sofas and warming wood burning stove with access to the spacious conservatory with patio furniture at the front to enjoy the views overlooking the canal. The dining room and large dining table is a great for a fun celebratory dinner in. The outside garden & quiet picnic area to the rear of the cottage (BBQ available) is accessible via the well equipped kitchen.

Pricing & Booking Information:

The cottage is priced for 6-8 people but there is a special 'discounted rate of approx. 15%' for smaller groups and for 9-11 people there is a small supplement of approx. 12%. Book, check prices and availability.

Please note: 

• Pets are unfortunately not allowed in Waterside Cottage.
• All male/female parties or mixed parties under 25 years at the owners discretion. 
• No smoking inside the cottage. Sorry no pets.

• Log burning stove - Logs £8 per basket - please do not bring your own logs as they may not be a suitable size for the stove.

• You can bring your own canoe/dinghy for use on the canal, a licence is not required if you are a member of the British Canoe Union.
