The first thing to say is that we had a really good time. It was the first time any of us had been on a narrowboat. Our expectations were high, and in the event they were exceeded by miles. We loved the pace of things, the countryside and wildlife, the technicalities of managing the boat and locks, and the friendliness of the people we came across. And especially the boat was really well equipped and immaculately clean. We'll certainly be coming again.

I cannot thank you enough for the friendliness shown by all your staff. We were quite worried when we first set off but you put us all at ease and the professionalism shown by all the staff was superb. Working the locks was such an adventure and 'river people' are definitely better humoured and more helpful than 'land lubbers'!
The boat 'Countess' was unbelieveable! Everything onboard was first class from the galley equipment to the showers! The beds were comfortable and the lounge area sumptuous! We will definitely book again, hopefully for an even longer trip.

Whilst we do not praise lightly, we were absolutely amazed by the amount of people we spoke to, hirers, boat owners and indeed working boat owners, who stated what a good, reliable Company Wyvern was. These were opinions offered to us; not asked for.
