The easiest way to book a boat is over the phone.
Give us a call on 01525 372355 and we can complete the booking form and take payment by card. We then send written confirmation by first class post.
Office hours: 9.00 to 5.30 Monday to Friday (all year) also Saturdays 9.00 to 5.00 1st April to 1st November.
How to book out of Office Hours?
 Check the narrowboat availabilty for the date and boat you require.
Submit this online request and we will then reserve the boat for up to four days. We will email or phone you back for confirmation.
How to confirm your holiday?
Either phone the office (please have your credit card details handy).
Or use our printable boat holiday booking form - fill it in and post it to us together with a cheque or credit card details.
Or use our online boat holiday booking service - Fill the form in online and submit with details of when and how you wish to make your payment by Credit Card or Electronic Bank Transfer.
Once we receive your 20% deposit or full payment if within four weeks, your holiday booking is secure. Just submitting the online form is not a booking confirmation.
When do we pay the balance?
Your balance of hire is not due until four weeks before you start your holiday. Should you pay your deposit by credit card we can automatically take the balance off the card.
What is included in the hire fee?
The hire of the canal boat and all its equipment including bedding, VAT at 20% (where applicable), fuel, gas, mid week toilet pump-out on holidays over seven days, car parking, buoyancy aids, television and damage waiver.
There is no security deposit or damage waiver payable by family groups. For all-male, all-female and party bookings a £250.00 security deposit is payable. All same sex crews at the Companies discretion.
What is not included in the hire fee?
Cancellation scheme details below. Extra persons aged 4 and over, £20.00 for a short break and £40.00 for a week. Pets £15.00 short break £25.00 per week each pet. Security deposit as above.
When can we board our boat?
 All our holidays start at 4.00 p.m. on the day of departure, however the canal boat can usually be boarded from 1.30 p.m. You must be back at base by 9.00 a.m. at the finish of your holiday - this allows us time to clean and service the boat ready for the next hirer.
Weekly Crew reduction
On all full brochure prices we give a weekly discount of £30.00 for one less than the full complement and £60.00 for two less than the full complement.
Short Break Crew reduction
On all full brochure prices we give a discount of £15.00 per half week for one less than the full complement and £30.00 per half week for two less than the full complement.
Ten Day Discounts.
£45 for one less crew than the full complement and £90 for two less crew.
For ten / eleven day hire please add the weekly price for the first week plus 40% of the following week's price (after any crew discount). Please phone the office for a quotation.
Second Week Discounts.
Book an extra week - or more - for 25% off the second and subsequent consecutive week(s) (after crew discount).
Seventeen / Eighteen Day Hire.
£75 for one less crew the the full complement and £150 for two less crew.
For seventeen / eighteen day hire please add the first week's price plus 75% of the second week's price plus 37.5% of the third week's price (after any crew discount).
Cancellation Scheme
We offer a cancellation scheme to UK residents whereby for a small premium (see our Terms and Conditions) we can cover your booking liabilities if you unfortunately have to cancel your holiday.
The premium must be paid when booking your holiday.
For Overseas Visitors please remember to arrange travel insurance for your whole trip which includes cancellation.
